(via helpfuleagles)The Student Services Building!!
1. What’s this place for?
Rico: The Student Services Building is another office building meant to serve the Biola community as well. Inside are the offices of Student Services (such as ID’s), Chapel Accountability, Student Orientation Services, Housing, and the Center for Career Development.
Some official business is done here but that doesn’t mean that people who serve there are mean. They are actually really nice people aimed to help everyone especially freshmen.
2. What do y’all do here in Student Services?
Rico: I’ve been to Student Services to receive my ID, and also to occasionally speak about how my chapel credits were not received. I love speaking to those who are here because they are so kind. They actually were the first people I met at Biola in the summer and they made me feel at home. But what I LOVE about Student Services is it is home to SOS. I’m an SOS leader and this office is where I speak with my crew leaders and boss Claudia. Also I get to speak with the intern. :) We’re a sick crew and anyone interested in SOS should check it out. Well the office you can just come visit when I’m around. Lol.

AJ: i have a tip for new students looking to get their IDs before school starts. if you live close by, or you decide to come out early if you dont live nearby, then i suggest getting to this building as soon as possible to get your ID. its what i did when i first entered the university, and again when we had to get new IDs this year. i hear the line can get crazy, so this is a way to avoid that line. =] i’ve also gone to Career Development, but only for a scavenger hunt of sorts for my first year seminar class for Christian Ministries. not only that, but i met with the person who is the commuter counselor of sorts, kind of like an RD for commuting students. thats been my experience with this building basically.
